Books for the Blind is a cassette collection available to members of the New Mexico State Library's Library for the Blind and Physically Handicapped (LBPH). These cassettes play on special multi-track cassette players supplied by the New Mexico State Library. This is a free program for those with a disability that prevents them from reading standard printed material.

Our core collection contains about 100 books and is comprised mainly of FICTION titles. We also have a revolving collection that comes from the New Mexico State Library.
