DHCP Settings

Windows

  1. Click on the Windows button in the bottom left corner of the desktop.
  2. Highlight Settings (or Control Panel), then click on "Network Connections" - or right click on the "My Network Places" icon and select Properties
  3. Right Click on your Network Connection and choose Properties
  4. Select Internet Protocol (TCP/IP)
  5. Set the panel for DHCP as shown below and click OK.

Macintosh

Mac OS 8 or 9

  1. From the Apple Menu bar, select “Control Panels” then “TCP/IP”
  2. In Connect via: drop down box, select network connection you are using (example: “Airport”)
  3. Verify that Configure is set to Using DHCP Server
  4. Close window, and click Save when asked
